About Us
Goals and Tasks of UW-P GOP
Our goals and tasks as determined on our March 4 meeting are:1. Change our image on campus
2. Become involved with the state GOP
3. Fundraise for our group and for goodwill nonprofit organizations
4. Publish a weekly "Blurb" in our student newspaper, the Exponent
5. Increase group membership
6. Create T-shirts for the whole group
We encourage people with ideas and goals to share them with us.

Grant County Rules Committee Meeting
Jonathan Minneci and Bethany Napp from the UW-P College Republicans will be attending the Grant County Rules Committee Meeting on March 14.
Grant County Republican Party Lincoln Dinner
Come and meet conservatives from across Wisconsin!
The Republican Party of Grant County will host the Republican Party of Iowa County at the annual Lincoln Dinner this year. The celebration of the 200th Birthday of President Abe Lincoln, the first Republican President, will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Roundtree Restaurant, 300 Business Hwy 151, next to the Governor Dodge Convention Center in Platteville. Registration and refreshments will start at 4:00 PM, with the program and dinner following at 5:00 PM.
BRIAN SCHIMMING, host on AM 1310 WIBA Radio, Madison, will be Master of Ceremonies. SCOTT WALKER, Milwaukee County Executive, will give the Keynote Address. JUDGE RANDY KOSCHNICK, candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, is the Guest Speaker. JUDGE GEORGE CURRY and ATTORNEY CRAIG DAY, challenger for the Grant County Circuit Court, have been invited. ROSE FERNANDEZ, candidate for the State Superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction, has been invited. The election for the Supreme Court, the Grant County Circuit Court and the State Superintendent of Public Schools is Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Other speakers include DAVE ROSS, Mayor of Superior, and MARK JEFFERSON, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
The dinner features chicken breast with raspberry marinade and berry garnish. The price is $25, $15 FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS, payable at the door.

3rd District Republican Caucus
Jonathan Minneci and Bethany Napp from the UW-P College Republicans will be attending the 3rd District Caucus on March 28.
